D-Lite Wave
Installing a D-Lite Wave
Measure the Frame Length: Measure the length of the frame along the slope, then add 10 cm (eaves) to get the total sheet length. For example, if the frame extends 1.90 m, you should cut the sheet to 2 m.
Setting the Starting Point Start with a Full-Meter Sheet: Begin installation with a sheet that is a full meter in length, then proceed in one direction. Check Two Key Points for Correct Placement: • The side edges of the sheet should face downwards in a wavy (convex) pattern. • The inkjet screen should be on the underside, and the D-Lite sticker should be on the top side.
Placing the Sheets on the Structure
Position Close to the Wall: Place the sheet on the structure as close to the wall as possible.
Overlap by One Wave Crest: Overlap the joint by only one wave crest.
Install the D-Cap: Place the D-Cap over the overlapping crest, ensuring all caps align in the same direction.
Securing the Sheets with Screws • Top and Bottom Purlin: Use 5 screws per sheet at the top and bottom purlin. • Middle purlin: Use 3 screws per sheet at the middle purlin (adjust as needed for cut sheets). Continue Installation: Repeat this process for each sheet until the entire awning is complete.
