Polysky Installation

  • Cut the sheets to the desired size:
  • Cut the aluminum so that the maximum overhang at the sheet’s end does not exceed 100 mm.
  • The overhang into the gutter should not be less than 50 mm.
  • Using a circular saw with a fine-toothed blade will help achieve a clean and easy cut.

* For sheets longer than 6 meters, it is recommended to cut the aluminum accessories to be approximately 10 mm longer than the sheet to allow for expansion and contraction.

  • Install the P Base:
  • For symmetrical sheet installation, position accordingly.
  • For other cases, place it at the edge of the building or in the flashing position along the building edge.
  • Position the P Base and use two fixing screws (Phillips head) at every support point.
  • Peel off the protective film on the underside to prevent scratches:
  • Position the P Base at intervals of 600 mm (it is not recommended to pre-install P Base
    more than 1-2 pcs).
  • Peel off the protective film on the underside of the sheet.
  • Avoid contact between the underside of the sheet and the support beams until it is positioned for installation to prevent scratches
  • Place the sheet:
  • Position the sheet onto the P Base that has been set up.
  • Check that the sheet is properly aligned and meets the specified placement dimensions
  • Install the P Cap:
  • Drill screw holes in the P Cap every 25 cm.
  • Place the P Cap over the sheet and the P Base.
  • Use a no.2 of Phillips drive to secure the Locking Screws into the pre-drilled holes, attaching them to the P Base.
  • Ensure that the screws at both ends of the P Cap are approximately 30-50 mm.from the edge.

* If drilling holes is not desired, no.3 Phillips drive can be used to secure the P Cap without pre-drilling screw holes

  • Install the P Close:
  • Position the P Close on top of the P Cap,
    then use a rubber mallet to tap it into the lock position
  • Install P End
  • Attach the P End to the aluminum edge by fastening it with a locking screw.
  • Install Edge Base (for sheet edge trimming)
  • Repeat steps 3-7 until all installations are completed. Attach the Edge Base and Edge Rubber along the sides to prevent water leakage
    and enhance appearance.
  • Peel off the top protective film
  • Peel off the top protective film immediately after installation is completed (leaving it on for too long may make it harder to peel off).
